Define My Day starts with helping you define who you want to be through affirmations... simple statements that help you create a direction for yourself.
Why do we do this?
By taking just a few moments each day to read, or even say, your affirmations, you are realigning your mindset toward the path you want to travel in life.
Affirmations are not unrealistic, feel-good statements. They are values and intentions for your life.
Define My Day is a whole life planner that can be used for work and personal goals. On this page, you'll set goals in each area for the next four weeks. The rest of your work will flow from what is written here.

Direction. We are charting our own course on this page by identifying what we want to accomplish personally and professionally.
In Define My Day, we practice setting our goals and aligning our daily actions to meet those goals through daily priorities. This process builds a sense of direction, accomplishment, and meaning while also helping us learn to protect our time from costly distractions that pull us off course.
Rhythm in life is key. The better we can maintain a routine, the more efficient we become, and the better we can handle the inevitable chaos life will throw our way.
There are certain parts of our day we cannot control but the Ideal Day exercise helps us find the pockets of time we can tend to ourselves or work on the important tasks related to our goals.
Why do we do this?
This exercise gives us insight into how much, or how little, time we have in our day - increasing our awareness of the value of our time. It helps us make better decisions with where to invest our time.
On this page, you'll create milestones that align with your goals.
Milestones are your goals broken into smaller chunks that you can tackle within the next seven days.
Why do we do this?
Many times, we create goals without breaking them down into smaller steps. It can be overwhelming so we procrastinate until we either cram it all into a short time period, exhausting ourselves. Or, we never even get started.
By breaking our larger goals into milestones, we make them shorter-term and more easy to achieve.
This is where you'll write your daily habits that you want to build for yourself. It can be anything you want! Anything that you want to be part of your everyday life.
To get you started, we already printed the six we know are crucial to a healthy life. It's up to you how much of each will be your goal. Do you need 6 hours of sleep to be healthy or 9? Just write it down and mark it off each day as you achieve it.

Daily disciplines are the dynamic, healthy actions that are simple to identify but sometimes hard to habitually accomplish. By setting these intentions and following through, we:
This is where all of your non-priority activities and tasks go. Anything that needs to be done but doesn't align with our goals goes in this space. You know these tasks - shopping, chores, time-consuming errands. Anything that isn't part of your life-plan.
Why do we do this?
We want you to be able to separate priorities from other tasks on paper and in your mind. To-do list items don't move us forward. In fact, sometimes we fool ourselves into feeling accomplished as we busy ourselves with to-do tasks. Meanwhile, really important, life-changing work goes unfinished.
By keeping your to-do list here, you can keep track of what needs to get done without it being front and center.
The most important part of Define My Day. In fact, if the rest is too much at first, we recommend only filling in this page until you get used to the process.
On this page, you identify the actions that you need to take today and can even break them into multiple steps or tasks. We've also included quick mindset exercises to help keep things in perspective.
Why do we do this?
Priorities are the actions aligned with our goals that we need to take today to move forward. Many times, life gets in the way or we simply don't know where to begin. By writing our priorities, we set the path for ourselves. It's up to us to uphold our agreement to walk that path no matter what distractions pop up.
Here, we reflect on our progress with an eye toward consistent improvement without judgment.
Some users reflect on their feelings about the day, others document their struggles and accomplishments as they relate to their priorities.
Why do we do this?
To bring awareness to the how and why we go about our days. Sometimes we have good days. Other days are a struggle. Either way, it's important to explore how our day went through a quick reflection in our journal.
At the end of each week, we have a quick scorecard to rate ourselves. This is not about judgment but about tracking progress.
"Did I do what I said was important to me?"
Why or why not?
